  1. Develops and implements policies and procedures consistent with the goals and objectives of the Modula plan
  2. Prepares departmental budgets, operational plans, and reports
  3. Controls expenditures within the limitations of the departmental budget
  4. Reviews and analyzes engineering procurement, production, quality control, operations, and maintenance reports, to identify and determine remedies for operational and production problems
  5. Implements new and/or adjusts operating methods designed to eliminate problems and improve product quality
  6. Reviews order schedules to determine engineering, procurement and production priorities and employee hour requirements
  7. Confers with employees to insure timely and smooth interdepartmental production activities
  8. Manages routings, and manufacturing procedures
  9. Manages time and labor reporting for direct reports
  10. Maintains standard costs
  11. Collaborates with the procurement department to expedite the order and receipt of materials and products requiring outside purchase and for material and product needs supplied from inventory
  12. Conducts production meetings with employees to monitor job progress and determine the need for adjustments in the production schedules
  13. Monitors plant safety
  14. Supervises and evaluates the work performance of employees
  15. Reviews all performance management requests by the First Line Supervisors and gives Monitors the equipment and maintenance of machinery
  16. Trains and sets expectations for employees in safe work habits, equipment maintenance, etc.
  17. Collaborates in an effort that will build an effective company team
  18. Provides feedback to the CEO and other Managers to enhance Modula’s future success
  19. Adheres to all established department and company standard operating procedures
  20. Performs other duties as assigned.



  1. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or related field is required
  2. Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment
  3. Three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience with proven leadership skills
  4. Knowledge of sheet metal preferred
  5. Proficiency in reading blue prints is a must
  6. Must have the ability to understand, perform and create a working environment that holds a high regard for safety policies
  7. Ability to communicate effectively
